Renton Regional Fire Authority Adds ASL Interpretation to Its CPR Course
[RENTON, WA – 01/21/2020] Renton Regional Fire Authority announced that it will host its first ever CPR/AED course that includes American Sign Language interpretation on February 1, 2020.
This addition comes a year after Renton RFA revamped its approach to teaching CPR/AED and first aid courses, teaming up with local fire agencies, Puget Sound Regional Fire Authority and Valley Regional Fire Authority, to provide a higher level of curriculum, 2-year certifications, and more course availability to the community.
With the new program dialed in, Renton RFA is beginning 2020 with a bang by expanding the accessibility of CPR, AED, and first aid education throughout the Renton community. The addition of American Sign Language interpretation is a test-run to what may be more courses like this in the future, in Renton and beyond.
Stay tuned for more additions to the CPR/AED and first aid course offerings through Renton RFA. Standard courses are available several times a month and can be accessed through the Renton RFA website at www.RentonRFA.org/cpr.
