OUR FIREFIGHTER HIRING SESSIONS
We currently conduct two hiring sessions a year in the Spring and Fall. Our next hiring session will take place in the Spring of 2019.
To be considered for one of our firefighter hiring sessions, you must have taken the CPAT within the last six months, have taken the Public Safety Testing Firefighter Exam within the last six months, and have selected Renton Regional Fire Authority to receive your exam scores.
While you must take your written exam through Public Safety Testing (PST), you may obtain your CPAT through a reputable source of your choosing. Those who use PST will not need to submit proof of their CPAT when selected to move forward in the hiring process, as we will receive it automatically with their exam results. Those who do not use PST to obtain their CPAT will only need to submit proof if selected to move forward in the hiring process, following exam review.
