Renton Regional Fire Authority (RRFA) and the Renton Police Department (RPD) are teaming up once again to bring you Scout Night 2024! Please join us on September 30, 2024 from 6:00pm to 8:00pm for our FREE 2024 Scout Night event. Registration is due by September 23, 2024.

NEW IN 2024: Earn a free Scout Night patch for attending! SCOUT NIGHT IS NO LONGER JUST FOR SCOUTS! All scout groups and community members up to 5th grade are welcome to attend and participate in the public safety activities. Participants will rotate through fun and educational learning stations designed to help them fulfill badge requirements and gain general knowledge in the areas of:

• Firefighter and law enforcement tools, equipment, and careers
• Emergency preparedness
• 9 -1-1
• Home fire escape planning
• Basic first aid
• Knot tying
• Home safety
• Poison prevention
• Bike and Water Safety
• DEA (Drug Enforcement Administration)
• And More!

Parking at the venue is limited, so please carpool where possible.

Please join us for an open house event at Fire Station 11 on October 12, 2024 from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. Guests will have the opportunity to:

• Tour the Station 11 ladder truck, fire engine, and medic one unit
• Try out various pieces of firefighter gear and equipment
• Meet the fire chief, Station 11 firefighters, and various members of our executive and civilian staff
• Receive educational fire safety and career information
• Receive Renton RFA safety swag

No RSVP necessary. Parking at the station is limited, however parking is available at the Renton library across the street. Event will take place in the bay, so community members are encouraged to join rain or shine!

Please join us for an open house event at Fire Station 12 on October 12, 2024 from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m.

Guests will have the opportunity to:

• Tour the Station 12 fire engine, aid unit, and dive rig – including the water rescue boat!
• Try out various pieces of firefighter gear and equipment
• Meet the fire chief, Station 12 firefighters, and various members of our executive and civilian staff
• Receive educational fire safety and career information
• Receive Renton RFA safety swag

No RSVP necessary. Parking at the station is limited, but street parking is available in the surrounding area. The event will take place in the fire station bay, so community members are encouraged to join us rain or shine!

Please join us for an open house event at Fire Station 13 on October 19, 2024 from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m.

Guests will have the opportunity to:

• Tour the Station 13 fire engine and aid unit
• Try out various pieces of firefighter gear and equipment
• Meet the fire chief, Station 13 firefighters, and various members of our executive and civilian staff
• Receive educational fire safety and career information
• Receive Renton RFA safety swag

No RSVP necessary. Parking at the station is limited, however guests are welcome to park in the Aliberto’s parking lot, in the spaces closest to the station, and walk over. The event will take place in the apparatus bay, so community members are encouraged to join rain or shine!

Please join us for an open house event at Fire Station 15 on October 19, 2024 from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m.

Guests will have the opportunity to:

• Tour the Station 15 fire engine
• Find the hidden images in the Kennydale water tower, located on the property behind Station 15
• Try out various pieces of firefighter gear and equipment
• Meet the fire chief, Station 15 firefighters, and various members of our executive and civilian staff
• Receive educational fire safety and career information
• Receive Renton RFA safety swag

No RSVP necessary. Parking at the station is very limited. Guests are encouraged to parking at the Park-and-Ride lot located on the corner of N 30th Street and Park Ave N, within one block of the station. The event will take place in the apparatus bay, so community members are encourage to join us rain or shine!

Please join us for an open house event at Fire Station 16 on October 26, 2024 from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m.

Guests will have the opportunity to:

• Tour the Station 16 fire engine, as well as the classic fire engine (owned and maintained by Local 864)
• Try out various pieces of firefighter gear and equipment
• Meet the fire chief, Station 16 firefighters, and various members of our executive and civilian staff
• Receive educational fire safety and career information
• Receive Renton RFA safety swag

No RSVP necessary. Station 16 has a decent amount of available parking. Please feel free to utilize the area behind the station for parking. For safety reasons parking along the roadway is not recommended. The event will take place in the apparatus bay, so community members are encouraged to join us rain or shine!
