Response Operations

RESPONSE OPERATIONS OVERVIEW

The Response Operations Division (Response Ops) is comprised of the men and women on the front lines of the fire and life safety services we provide. They perform the tasks most typically associated with our organization: fire suppression, EMS, and special rescue operations.

Our Response Ops members are carefully selected for excellence in their ability to deliver fire and life safety services. They undergo rigorous training to ensure they’re fully prepared to conduct themselves in a skillful and safe manner under the most extreme circumstances. Our members are among the best firefighters in the country and are recognized as industry leaders for having a CPR save rate well above the national average.

SERVICES

Fire Suppression

The men and women who make up our team of firefighters are highly skilled in fire suppression – extinguishing fires to save lives and minimize property damage. This team serves communities throughout the city of Renton and Fire District 25. They also contract to provide services for Fire District 40.

COMMUNITY OUTREACH

Serving Renton, Fire District 25, and Fire District 40 means more than just responding in an emergency situation. Our Response Operations division works hard to be a pillar in the community. Our teams attend public events, visit local schools, educate community groups, and more. Sharing fire and life safety knowledge is a great way for our firefighters to reduce risk and save lives. Our efforts toward community outreach align perfectly with our vision for the organization.
