ADMINISTRATIVE SUPPORT

The Administration Division is responsible for maintaining the internal functions of the organization and includes Administrative Support, Finance, Human Resources, and Communications.
If you have ever called in to our office, chances are you spoke to one of our Administrative Support team members. Administrative Support (Admin) is comprised of individuals with expertise in a multitude of administrative responsibilities. They provide our community members with exceptional customer support via phone, e-mail, and in-person at our office. They are behind the scenes creating reports, agendas, taking minutes, and scribing the various documents we use internally and externally. They crunch organizational data and provide the statistical information we need to ensure we continue to build on our successes.
Admin is vital to the team here at Renton RFA and allow us to continue to provide a high level of customer service to the communities of Renton and Fire District 25.
FINANCE
Our Finance team handles everything financial for the organization: payroll, accounts receivable, accounts payable, billing, etc. If it has to do with dollars coming in or going out, this savvy team is on top of it.
As a new organization, there have been many programs, processes and procedures to develop to ensure we’re performing to the standard our community is accustomed. This team has been instrumental in bringing on software, programs and processes that streamline the way we work and look at our financial data. Backed by accounting experts, Finance has helped on-board programs that make our work more efficient and our data more transparent. This efficiency trickles down to every division of our organization.

HUMAN RESOURCES

Human Resources (HR) takes care of all the members at Renton RFA. From on-boarding motivated newcomers, to navigating employee relations, to making sure our hardworking firefighters have a quality retirement when they’re finished serving the community. Human Resources works to ensure all our members have the benefits and support they need to excel personally and professionally.
HR is also instrumental in serving the community by ensuring our teams are filled with top-quality talent in every role. In 2017 alone, our HR team was responsible for vetting over 300 entry-level firefighters from around the country to bring Renton RFA the best of the best. The communities of Renton and Fire District 25 rest easy knowing that we’ve hired highly-skilled personnel to provide fire and life safety services in their time of need, and our HR team is a critical part of the process.
COMMUNICATIONS
As a new addition to the organization, Communications is responsible for the branding, messaging, and outreach. This team works to develop communication channels between us and the Renton community through all forms of digital and traditional media. They are critical to our efforts to bring safety education to our citizens and ensure that we continue to create new and innovative ways to connect to the individuals and businesses we protect.
